Finally got the opportunity to take her on a day trip, and overall, I'm very pleased. I'm in Florida, so not a ton of hills, EVIC showed 18.7 mpg, calculated was 17.5 mpg. 4x4 with 3.73 gears, cruise set at 72mph with some city traffic also.

What kind of payload y’all have on the 6.4? I thought they were all 3,000lbs +. Dealership told me they can get one from another dealer but VIN states it’s only 2350lbs.

I have a 6.4 Laramie Megacab with payload just under 2950 lbs. The diesel powerplants will take away an additionl 500-600 lbs from the payload. Crew cabs will have a little more payload as will lower trim models.

It was probably a Longhorn or Limited Mega Cab? There are tons of combinations with the trucks that can change the payload slightly to drastically.

Mine is 3,010 on the door. Laramie CC 6’4” box.

The stock tire load sticker on your door became useless as soon as you put non stock rims and tires on your truck. To be fair though, it was useless to begin with and is only there for the manufacturers to comply with federal regulation brought on by the Firestone and Explorer rollovers of the late 90's.

Mine's around 3150 or so because of options. Supposedly about 3300 normally for a Laramie. Main one that's really noticeably different I think is the Power Wagon. Think it's around 1800ish?

Correct the PW is low due to the off-road suspension. My truck is north of 3100. Just can't remember the exact number....

That is some great mileage for as new as it is! Mine never started out that good but is there & then some now. Best I have ever got was this year traveling from Kzoo, MI to Dayton, OH. Got 20.1 by the evic, hand cal was 18.9. Nothing but me & a little bit of luggage in it. About half of it on the interstate at 75mph & the other half on two lane going 60-65. I find it comical that this beast of a truck gets better mileage than my 4.7 Dakota ever did.
