hey all,
just got my 2016 first ram big horn 1500 and have a question for those with leveling kits. I am having a 2" leveling kit installed with 35" Toyo Open Country tires.

My concern is I have a standard 7ft garage with a rubber weather strip that makes it more about 6'10" of actual clearance.

Will I have issues fitting into garage? Does anyone have a similar set up or provide feedback to your level kit, tire size, and garage clearance?

You'll be fine. Your roof height is prob around 76"and your adding 3"

thanks..so the 35s will only raise height of the truck an inch, shouldn't be any more?

Measure it.
I have a 2500 and it just clears the garage door.
But I have to look out for the inside garage door handle and garage door opener hardware.

I did measure, the truck sits at 76.5" right now, and the garage clearance with the weather strip is right at 82". I park at an angle so the garage door motor/hardware is not an issue. Am I just being paranoid?

Not paranoid. Sounds like your doing your homework. If your tires are 31-32ish and your going to 35" toyos which are actually a bit shorter than 35. So max 2" higher on the tires and 2" on the level puts u to 80.5". You feel comfortable with 2" clearance? You may run at 40-50 psi too that may take u down a bit. Anyhow enjoy

thats what I was adding up as well, the 80.5". I am fine with an inch of clearance just long as it fits!
