I got a lot more pics and stuff. I was waiting to upload them and some kind of a write up when I was finished. But if you are in the middle of yours I can add more. If you hit the link to my Flickr site, I have a whole album of all my pictures. I just want to figure out how to add the final touches so it looks good
I'm going to try to use the piece of the dash as well

Now the questions are:

1. Are you going to hook up the gear shifter to the center console?
2. Are you going to get a 4th Gen Steering Column with out the shifter?

Yes I will be using a shifter. I haven’t updated this in a little while but I have been getting some stuff done slowly. And 2, I did not have any plans to use a 4th gen column, I don’t even know it that’s possible or not. It might look sweet, it might be worth thinking about.

Now for a progress report.

I picked up a TCI Outlaw shifter from Redtruck_Va, and I’m very happy with how it looks and works. It was pretty easy to mount up, I didn’t make anything crazy up, just screwed down a few boards to the console to get the height I wanted. The console has a nice flat spot to mount the shifter to, and it’s pretty solid. It took a lot of time trimming and fitting the hole through the cup holder trim piece, and then using body filler to smooth out the holes that were left. I’m almost done painting it

And now I’m working on fixing the gap on the passenger side down by where the bag hook used to be. I had to plastic weld some pieces to make a support to add body filler, then I’ll have to contour and sand it to fit perfectly. I smoothed the radio bezel and filled in the bag holder clip, that will make it easier for the console to fit nicely

that i understand, just trying to gather as much info as i can before making the decision and attempt on something like this. im guessing that this would be a weekend type of tasking. One major concern is that does the 4th gen interior (front and rear seat along with full console) directly bolt up or will i need to make some modifications.

You need to look around more lol...for starters, if you couldn't figure out that the 4th gen console is NOT any kind of bolt in by looking through this thread, I can't help you lol. 4th gen seats are a physical bolt in, but you have to repin the connectors up front (to do it properly anyway) to plug them into the truck. Reason I said you need to look around more, start on page 3 of this link and go to page 4: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/big-red-over-time-pic-heavy.17732/page-3
