FYI, I'm new to the forum but discovered a fender flare coming unattached so know I have to reattach in the near future.
Was investigating how to fix and read about methods to remove the glue from the two sided tape so wanted to add a procedure I've used in the past.
What I have done and plan doing on my flare and fender is taking paper towels and sticking them to the adhesive then spraying the towels with wd40 until totally soaked, you then let them soaked for at least 6-8 hours before using the same towels to scrub off the adhesive it'll take a little elbow grease to remove but I have found it successful on other such projects I've done.
