The truck has been parked since 830ish last night, and around 530 this afternoon I noticed some drips about 6" off center towards the driver side. Wiped it up, and saw it drip some more. It looks pinkish in color. Checked the rad cap, rad is full, and I can see fluid in the reservoir. Looked from the top, and cannot see any visible leaks(yes I checked the plastic end tanks like in the other thread). Crawled underneath and found a couple of drips on the shroud. Have not taken anything off yet as it is getting dark here now. 20250315_184451.jpg20250315_185913.jpg

Check the weep hole underneath the water pump, also check radiator core plastic side tanks, been known to leak or split open, also check level in overflow tank, make sure you use OAT antifreeze & distilled water, you may need to have the cooling system pressurized to find leak.

Had a chance to get under and pull the panel loose. Looks like it's time for a new radiator. Odd that it happened after the truck had been off and parked for 18+hours...*edit* truck is an '18 5.7 8hp70 2x4, and according to store.mopar.com with my vin, the second pic are the direct replacement radiators. Does this look correct?

The radiator you're showing states it's for a 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel Engine. Your info states you have a 2018 Sport with the 5.7 engine. Check with Benny @AllMoparParts.com He's a forum vendor and I'm sure he can get you the correct radiator/info.

I thought that I had my VIN in the store.mopar.com, seems I did not. This is what they are showing. RockAuto says the Denso shown in the radiator bubbles post does not fit the '18. Anyone have info on bproauto? And I'm guessing the price difference is the lower priced one expects a core return, and does not include a cap.

These what fits what websites are crap, and they are wrong more often than they are right. You'll have to take a little risk and order what you want.

Damn near everything i've ordered for my truck wouldn't fit if I went by these websites. Oddly, all the parts that wouldn't fit are working fine, years later.

Oreilly shows the same radiator part number fitting the following trucks:

Here is a 2016

Here it is for a 2018

Here it is for a 2009

So, order what youd like to put in your truck. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to order that Denso from Rockauto. On the small chance it doesn't fit, you can send it back or resell it.

You could even run down to your local oReillys and pick one up. Then, if it don't fit you can take it right back to the store.

That website offers free pickup from a Jeep Dodge Ram dealer ~30miles from me. That's why I was asking about the bproauto brand. If it's being offered by a dealership, the fitment should be fairly close to oem...one would hope.
*edit*, just looked at my messages and saw this...bproauto it is.

@mands0807, how did your repair go?

Can I ask how much that bprauto radiator set you back?
I don't have the radiator yet, ordered from Benny. It was originally around $205 after shipping, but I got an email the next day saying the website had incorrect shipping dimensions, and the price went up $45, so $250 shipped. It would've been $260 plus tax and driving from Bradenton to St. Pete to pick it up.

I'm having my mechanic install it, along with a PPE trans pan. I don't have the space, or time(single dad/2 teenage daughters) to do it myself, but my mechanic has a youtube channel, so I will post a link when it goes up.

Sounds good.

My problem is not having the ability to have someone else do it for me... lol.

Take these instructions to your mechanic, and make sure he levels the transmission not the truck.
Tell him these are the instructions that come with a "brand new " truck specific 8 speed, when bought from the dealer

I already have that printed out, along with the instructions for Caulks thermal bypass. He has done a couple of ZF trans pans, but on BMWs(one was a PPE). The whole lifting the rear end on a Ram truck caught him off guard, but he understands why it needs to be done.
