Fog Lights Directly to Bumper

Has anyone mounted additional fog /driving lights directly to the bumper or does everyone use the Randy Ellis light bar shown below?

I have the R.E. lightbar with four across like yours. Also added Riv nuts to the underside of the bar and put in a single row amber bar. Have yet to mount anything to the bumper.

Because I am cheap and poor (Canadian) made my own that attachto the bumper mount bolts

On a real truck, I'd mount light to the bumper no problem
(In fact up to '01, the stock bumpers had a mounting spot for aux lights stamped and predrilled right into them)

On a pavement princes with a front fascia, no
