FOG LIGHTS STOPPED WORKING

Hey everyone.

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 which came with factory fog lights.

Over the years, I replaced the OEM front bumper and fog lights with after-market ones and were working fine for several years.

Recently I noticed that BOTH fog lights are not working. The fog light indicator light shows up on the dash when I push in the button to activate the fog lights, but the lights do not work. The headlights, high/low beam and running lights all work fine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That is the first thing I did. However, The owners manual does not specify any fuse for the fog lights.

I changed the fog lights several years back to HID’s without issue. Just recently they stopped working.

Take a multi-meter and see if you have voltage at the light elements.
I had the same problem with fogs not working and ended being the light switch. Got a replacement on eBay and again have my fogs.

Same thing happened to the switch on my '99... indicator light for fogs still worked but not the switch to energize the fog lights.

I know it’s been a while, but an update regarding my fog lights.

It was the light switch after all. I replaced it and now they work.
