I have a 2011 ram 1500 with the solid bumper (except for where the front tow hooks are). Is it possible to mount some sort of fog lights?

Yes. I believe Mopar still sells a kit that mounts in that spot. Not sure what's out there for aftermarket that is a "bolt on" kit

I installed a set of fogs and driving lights behind the grill. There is a huge cavity there that allowed to mount and secure the lights. I went that route in order to make stealing the lights more of a challenge. The are also licence plate mounts that will allow you mount the lights I had one for a while but didn't like the lights being so exposed.

Had a bumper accident, so I simply replaced the front bumper with one that had the holes for the fog lights. M2Mods has an excellent cable that helped make it all factory like. There's a DYI article on how to do this.

You could probably do something similar but figure out how to mount a different light set where the covers to the tow brackets would be.

Good luck!

You can get a bracket on Amazon or ebay to add fogs where the tow hooks are. I've seen some people do flush mount lights and cut holes into front bumpers.

Trouble with flush lamps is they can't be aimed, and if you're running a lamp so scattered that aim doesn't matter that's a task light not a driving light.

PIAA 410 is a SAE pattern lamp in a compact square package that is made to fit inside Ford bumpers, might fit the tow hook holes in a steel 1500 bumper too? They use 9005 bulbs and produce a lot of clean focused and useful light as long as you don't spoil the focus with other kinds of emitters.

Yeah no adjustment in flush mount. I cant find the bracket for the tow hook fog lights. You could always get the plastic insert plugs and mount there but you lose your hooks. A guy just did the license plate mount system looks pretty good. If all else fails just cut some holes in your bumper and put some edge molding on it. That is my plan once I get my other fog lights that are back ordered. I'll build some brackets and cut some holes big enough so I can adjust lights should come out pretty clean.
