Non electronic guy here..appologies..wondering if I can put aftermarket light bars where the OEM footwell light is and tap into that power circuit without issues? Can same be done with the Dome light? 2021 Ram Quad Cab Classic..Warlock..
What method do I tap into that power wire for the OEM bulb ...I would take out that bulb as it would not be required ...or do I have to run a wire from the new light bar to the fuse box and do an ATO (ATC) fuse expandable circuit power adapter ( 5 amp )..I think that is what it is called..thanks

If you are replacing with LEDs you should just be able to tap the existing wires for power and run it that way (unless it's some LED array with lots of individual diodes). If the current light is incandescent, that circuit can power quite a few LEDs...

Yes. If they are just the short strips I wouldn't worry about a separate power wire run. The gauge of the factory wires will probably be bigger than what comes on the leads for those LED strips (even if you double them up).
