Has anyone closed off the ports on their fox box, It is a nice box but i just dont like the boomy sound that comes from it. It doesn't sound as good as my old sealed box that was a cheap o with my L7's in it and now i have upgraded to some JL W6V3 10s and it just doesn't sound as clean. Anyone know if i can seal up this ported box?

I've had some emails back and fourth with the Fox Box company asking if they made a sealed enclosure. His response was they just don't have any luck with making them sound good.

I will be receiving mine tomorrow and will probably feel the same as you do but I figured this would be a liaison until the budget allows a netaudio or Stealthbox.

usually ported boxes are larger in airspace than a sealed. make sure it will still be in the recommended zone for the sub.
