I think you'll be happier in the long run if you start with an lc6i or similar. That way you'll already have the ability to wire it correctly when you decide to add the four channel later. Pulling the mono signal out of the sub amp will sound like crap.
Better bet (if you're using the lc2i) is to do it the opposite way with the lc2i and run into the 4 channel then pull from that to the sub amp. You'll lose fader but at least you'll still have stereo.
K so it would work bc the rears are getting full signal. whats the point of lc6i ? just to be able to keep fader?
I have to buy everything from scratch , so what u think about getting a 5 channel amp hook to lc2i off rears? something like this ..https://www.crutchfield.com/p_109CL4505M/JBL-Club-4505.html?tp=35808
reason im saying lc2i is bc I have one a friend gave me for free. tapping rear speakers much easier than pulling factory unit out to get behind it( I have console) or spending over 100 bucks on a harness.
Im just not sure if I want to amp my doors speakers. I bought the DS kickers series which sound good on the factory unit. Just when im rolling with windows down sunroof back its not very loud. Im wondering what they what the would sound like with 40 wattsrms going to them. They claim 90 watts rms.
