FRAM filters quality

Back few years ago, FRAM filters were known for flaking fibers of the filtering material. Today I bought one of their filters for V6 RAM in our family. That's the worst one I have seen in a long time. Look at that "peach fuzz" in the second picture. Never mind the oily spots, it's from my handling it with greasy fingers. Not surprised with the quality control though, as consumer product quality has gone down since Covid. Just wanted to raise awareness on this forum.
I will return it back to Walmart or message FRAM corp.

I have and will always avoid fram filters 80% of the motors i fix that are blown i have noticed always have fram filters Just my observation.

True. I avoid the basic Fram too.

Mopar/Bosch/Wix ...that's what I typically use.
