Front camera

I bought a front camera to add to truck and lockpick but trying to figure out where to put it. Any ideas?

You could zip tie it behind the grill, maybe the top most opening would give the best view.

It doesn't have to be. Just inside the right or left top grill insert would be fairly close to center though. You could get the kind that is like a license plate cover with a camera. If you decide to go that route, let me know, and I may be interested in the one you've got now.

Im guessing you dont wanna cut, but if you made a small hole and mounted it below the license plate behind that plastic you could center it.

Just curious. Can u hook up the camera to work with the factory stereo? I have the backup camera. Can this be made to work with both?

If you get the lockpick it can. I have 4 cameras on my truck! Front, back, baby cam for back seat, right side mirror for blind spots.

Thanks. I started googling it, and read both positive and negative reviews on how it kicks on under 5mph and you lose control of the radio. So every time you slow down does it kick on, or can you put in on a switch to use when you need?

You select if you want it to come on automatically or not. It doesn't cut the music out it just changes the screen to show the front camera. I love this feature. I have little dogs that like to run in front of my truck when pulling in the driveway!

Can you post some pics of the right side mirror camera, been thinking of doing something like this and would like some ideas of mounting.

Drill a hole in the dimple behind the ram head emblem and mount it flush with it.
