I’m going to be rebuilting my front diff soon and I was wondering what’s the best kit out there, if there’s any better gearing to go In the front, and also what would be a good hearing for a 6in lift with 35’s for better gas mpg

Are you asking what gear ratio you should go with for the front diff? You can't change the ratio in just the front diff. The front and rear diff have to be the same ratio or you will destroy the truck when using 4 wheel drive.

Moe’s performance sells a good front end rebuild kit. The fronts are very pricey, it’s about $300 for the large install kit. And you have to keep the same ratio or change the back to identical gears. Have you ever done a gear swap before? It’s not easy at all and takes some special tools. I would recommend 4.56 ratio if you are inclined to change them out

Also what year truck? You are posting in the 3rd gen section (02-08) and your profile pic looks like a 4th gen. They have some special issues with the front diff depending on the year

So a 4.56 ratio would be good with the lift?

It’s not necessarily about the lift as much as the bigger, heavier tires you are rolling around on. But yes that’s a great ratio for the 3rd gens. I’m using them on 33” tires, the rpms will be higher cruising the highway but the extra mechanical advantage is well worth it in my mind

I’ve got a big built motor, I barely pull 10mpg. It will be different on a stock setup. As long as you have a 1500, the rear is a Chrysler 9.25” diff and the front is a Chrysler 8.25”
