Need some advice on this please.
Installed the front Hellwig Sway bar as directions stated using all factory bolts and endlinks and ran into issues getting the factory endlink tops back in with the grommets. The factory endlink grommets are tapered and the stock front sway bar had a tapered bigger hole as well. The Hellwig just has a hole large enough for the endlink to go into to be bolted. After fighting with it got it back together.
I think I did it correctly but they look odd after. Maybe because the sway bar is a bigger diameter. Also the pictures are with the fires turned outward and inward full lock and straight. Just wanted to make sure it is installed correctly. Hellwig said as long as bar cleared everything and all should be fine.

Junk. That one picture the washer is so close to touching the sway bar. I bet in 5000 miles it starts making noise when that rubber seats/wears in.

The ears on that sway bar are terrible looking compared to the thousands of other ones I've seen.

that looks horrible. Maybe use better end links like Suspension Maxx. But that angle on the bar looks wrong to me.

Hellwig said 8-10 years back on this verry forum they wouldn't make a front sway bar since the factory one was actually good. Not sure what changed. I remember this because that rear Hellwig was my first MOD and wanted a front one.

4F75C71D-4FEC-4DF1-8024-A2EE1CC13737.jpegI don't think its upside down. Should I use after market grommets?

Well I will disassemble it and switch directions and see. I guess I should have just kept the stock front but changed the rear and didn’t want to have over or understeer. You live and learn. I thought it looked off and thanks for the suggestions.

Try flipping the bar. (move the end you have on the right side to the left side) Compared to mine the bar is reversed.

Thanks. Do they give any kind of projections or 'specs'? (like 20% stiffer?)

I'm curious to hear your before/after impressions. Might be something I'd be interested in.

They don’t mention specs but the front bar is definitely way heavy than oem. Better quality material. I can’t really tell a big difference but I’m happy with it and think it pairs well with the Hellwig rear one.

Changing out the front sway bar makes no sense unless one is planning on racing the truck. On the rear axle it is a different matter as a good rear sway bar can greatly reduce rear wheel hop with a pickup truck. But if you have money to burn and time to kill then why not?

Oh man! I put these on my 2005 Silverado ECSB Z71 (not lifted, stock size tires) and WoW, where had they been all my life. I could tell just making the turn out of my driveway. It does not make it a sports car for the track but helps on long clover leafs if you want to push it.
I cheeped out and only did the front first and it was an improvement but meh, so so and did the rear and that was the wow factor for me.
Driving around off highway or making quick turns in a parking lot or subdivision you can appreciate it every time.

Traction bars get rid of wheel hop, sway bar gets rid of body roll in the corners. Especially the front bar which helps in hard corners keeping the vehicle flater, and reduces front end dive to one side when breaking.
