I have a new to me 2014 ram 1500 bighorn. I’ve noticed a clunking sound coming from the left front. What could cause this? Possibly the sway bar bushings or links? Any help would be appreciated!

Check the Upper control arm bolts, Also the top strut mounts can move but they typically squeak-

easy way to check is park the truck and have someone sit in it and turn the wheels left to right and watch one side through multiple rotations for anything moving that shouldn’t be then check the other side.

Could be that but most likely the upper control arm. Just like with the exhaust manifold bolts the control arms are the next most common problem. They're just cheap and wear out fast

When do you hear the clunking? Over bumps? Only when turning a certain direction?

When driving and hitting small bumps... have already replaced upper control arms and clunking persists

Check your hood bumpers. I know it sounds like that can't be the problem but I had a very similar problem early last year that sounded like a clunk when going over bumps, turning in the driveway, etc that sounded like it was coming from the front suspension. I screwed both the hood bumpers out a couple turns and it stopped completely and hasn't done it since. I would have sworn on a stack of bibles that it was a loose shock or cab mount bolt but it wasn't. It only takes a minute to try and if all else has failed you never know.
