So I’m currently having issues with filling my truck up with gas. Doesn’t matter how far in the nozzle is it or how fast you have it going in it repeatedly kicks off the nozzle. Takes about 20 minutes, a 150 trigger pulls, sweat and anger at high levels to fill my tank. Already had it to the dealer and they replaced the vent filter next to the gas lid, didn’t fix it. Anyone else have this issue?

No issue like that. The issue alot of us have is that certain pumps (Costco for one) the nozzle always gets stuck in the filler pipe and requires some finessing to get it out.

Is this a new issue or have you had it forever? Your sig shows a 2015 is why I ask.

I have that issue at Costco every time I get gas from there! I didn't know that was a common problem...??

Mine have done the click click at certain pumps. Try going as deep as you can until the nozzle latches where it's supposed to then squeeze and lock the trigger as normal but quickly grab the hose and push upwards to angle the nozzle down . Keep the hose at the same angle with one hand. It works for me everytime at least for the pump that gives me trouble. It seems the nozzle not always seals as it should maybe cause the nozzle mechanism is old. I have the same issue in my Durango as well at the same gas station/pumps.

I think that this problem has been discussed earlier. There are a few other threads about this and as I remember some people have replaced some parts to cure the problem. I don't remember exactly where the threads are located but if you try the "search" function you may be able to locate them.

I have had that problem only a few times. I mostly get gas at costco. Usually it’s fine but once in a while for whatever reason it will have that problem. I thought it might just be a certain pump but I had used the same pump(s) I have had the problem with in the past and had it work so there is no rhyme or reason to it that I can find.

Like others have said......I had that problem for a while......then just kinda went away....?????
Holy crap on a cracker with a cherry on top. I honestly i thought i was crazy and maybe i made the whole thing up.

Mine was so bad i thought i used a fuel additive and the foil seal got lodged on the filler neck.

It’s a new issue. First started when I filled up Virginia when I was down visiting family over July 4th. Thought the pump was just ****** up. Came home to my usual Sunoco gas station and gas pump I use and it did it again. Million god forsaken clicks til I got it full again. That’s when I made the appointment at the dealership and the changed the filter. Picked my truck up and went and got gas again. Same station but a different pump this time and it still did it. Had an appointment for it to go back before I was done getting it filled. I have a 2017 rebel now btw.

Tried, nothing came up other than the stuck fuel nozzle issues.

Let me look around a little. I think I remember that a few people changed out the filler tube with a new part and I remember they included the part number. I don't remember if there might have been a TSB on the problem--
Go to the search bar and type in "filler tube replacement" there should be 6 or seven threads that may have some information that could be helpful.

Back a few months ago this was my answer. No problems as of today: I’ve been watching this thread, so I figured I’d give it a go, even though I hadn’t experience the problem most have had, but I wanted to have it checked due to my warranty expiring in 4 months. Mine was determined to be defective and replaced with part 68442608AA, on my 2017 2500. No charge, under warranty. Part description between seems to have a few differences, but now when I’m filling and it shuts off, I no longer can get in that extra little bit. It was though easier to insert so that’s good.

Thanks for your input! So that part number is for a new filler neck correct?
