Could someone tell me please what size socket I need to remove my 2013 6.7 fuel filter housing cap?

If your talking the filter up beside the motor it is 18mm

Make sure you get a 6 point socket for this. I tried to use a 12 point, cause thats what I had on hand. It didnt work very well, and damaged the cap.

I think it is supposed to be a 28mm. And as has already been mentioned, use a 6 point socket to keep from rounding off the plastic nut.

If you get the oil filter cap your all set for easy routine maintenance

The dealer does it for about $18 more than I can do it for, so they get that pleasure. Plus it gets the truck in regularly for visitation.

Lucky you. Dealers around me still think changing the oil on an ISB is worth $150 and $500 for the two fuel filters.
