It's a 2022, it should still be under warranty. I know you don't want to lose the truck for as long as they will probably have it, but it appears your sending unit is bad which means dropping the tank. When I fillup and the gage shows hair under 3/4 it takes little over 15gallons ...I have a 31 gallon tank. How do I fix this without dealer? Thanks
That might be the standard. The top half of a tank is always larger then the bottom half according to the gauge. You have to burn off some gas before the float actually starts to move down and give you a reading. If it's between a half and 3/4 and takes 15 gallons on a 31 gallon tank,i'll lay odds there's not much the dealer will be able to doWhen I fillup and the gage shows hair under 3/4 it takes little over 15gallons ...I have a 31 gallon tank. How do I fix this without dealer? Thanks
