1999 ram 1500 3.9l v6 5 speed manual. I recently replaced my fuel pump and in doing so i had to release the pressure at the fuel rail. Well now i believe the valve is stuck open because fuel just sprays everwhere when i go to start the truck. WTF. Is this valve replaceable? can I just remove and replace it like a shreader style valve?? Or do I need to replace the whole fuel rail. Any help will do. Thanks and I hope I have this in the right section.

It is a shrader valve. I would either try to move the pintle around a bit with a screwdriver or pick or something. Or you can replace it as well with another set of rails. Fixing yours might need some tapping on the side as well as a penetrant. If you get that done i would recommend making sure you have the cap for it to avoid this in the future

yes it was just a shreader valve. Replaced it now im good. I must have bent it or something when I went to relieve the pressure to replace my fuel pump. IDK didnt really push it that hard....
