I just changed my fuel pump and sending unit and thought I would share some pictures most common failure on oem units
The wiper puts too much pressure on the mica plate and rubs the contacts right off also oem does not use a hard enough plating on contacts best bet is to buy aftermarket sending unit this is mine pictured above with 17166 miles on truck.
