Just posting this as they had some interesting results. There is some methodical testing here. I was surprised at how bad they performed.

I ride bikes and have enjoyed many of Ryan’s videos. Always entertaining and informative.

I use StaBil in an array of machines from autos to lawn equipment that gets stored 6-24 months regularly with zero problems. Using ordinary pump E10.

I’ve also experienced the consequences of not using it, and know others with problems from storing toys without stabilizer.

I have no quarrel with his methods, but a few minutes in a beaker is not precisely the equivalent of 6 months in a sealed fuel tank.

Remove the ethanol from the gas, use an octane boost = perfection

But if they fail to prevent oxidation in a few hours or don't noticeably slow down phase separation in that time i doubt they do much in the tank.
