Ok so since there are a few separate threads out there as of now on the different options, I wanted to get my info into it's own thread as to not totally flood mikes eibach thread.

Some of you may know and some may not, but I initially had purchased the full eibach kit on black Friday. Even though the parts are separately available the full lift kit was pushed into back order until March. Unacceptable in my opinion for a small upgrade from oem parts. 4 month lead times are longer than it takes for custom built things.

Fast forward, I had been doin my normal read through around the interweb and came across a few sets of 6112s available. I double checked with the company and to my surprise they were in fact in stock. So I jumped on them as they were originally my first choice. Cancelled my order on the eibach and decided I'd be the one to try the new bilstein springs paired with 5100s out back.

Big shout out to Nick at got exhaust, we've been goin back and forth for a while now on things and he's helped at ton.

My goal was to level the truck and refine the already good ride these trucks have on road. I live on the east coast so longevity and reliability are my biggest factors, especially with the corrosive winters here. I've run fancy king and fox setups in the past and honestly it was just overkill and way too high maintenance for what I wanted to achieve. Off road out here is primarily 4lo crawling around or super short spirited stints so I don't need the high speed desert setup. Just a nice compliant, yet firmer highway ride and some capability off road. Shouldn't look too much different from my current setup but should handle much better than the current worn out oem stuff.

Once I get the parts in hand I'll take preliminary measurements of all the parts as well as comparisons before and after install on my truck.
Can't wait to remove the spacer junk!

Current setup:
Spacers up front stock everywhere else
285/70/17
Pics are of the current setup

Future setup:
6112s set to 2.3" front
Bilstein 36-286539 rear coils 1" rear lift
Bilstein 5100 0-1" lift shocks.
Oem UCAs for now
285/70/17s oem wheels

Bilstein springs paired with 5100s in the rear? You mean bilstein springs up front and 5100s in the rear. Correct?

Nope. Bilstein released a 1" lift coil for the rear. Contacted Nick on here and they are coming direct from Bilstein. Up front the 6112s do have a coil as well. Hoping the springs accent each other since they're "tuned" for this specific application. We'll see how things go.

The rear stuff hasn't shipped yet, but front should be here Friday.

Be curious to see the springs from billstein. I know they're not too expensive so depending on what they look like might replace my 1211's with em and rehome my 1211's on a 2WD that's in the family.

Ok so your running bilstein +1 rear springs and rear 5100 shocks then?

Yes thats correct.

And for 175$ I can't complain. Worst case they net me minimal to no lift.

I may need to spend more money on the rear springs. I hate spacers, reason I didn't do the rear and only did a level with Bil5100 up front.

Keep your eyes peeled, ill update here with all the info and pics. I went with these hoping to keep rear take to about 1". The 6112s are only gonna net me 2.3-2.5 up front which keeps me perfectly level but as most know it aesthetically looks nose high. I have bags out back so I'd like to keep rake about 1-1.5" plus the price is right and having the setup from one company keeps my OCD happy.

So how are the 285/70 tires fitting on the 17 inch rim?

Perfectly fine. I run about 40 psi f/r and get full contact with no issues with center crowning.

I'm interested to see how this setup compares to my Eibachs. Following.

I am too. I have a feeling I'm gonna be a bit lower all around. Getting a bit impatient to get this all.

So whats the price tag on the complete kit, and where did you order them through?
Well it's not offered as a complete kit. I had to order parts separate. The 6112s were about 700$ shipped, I'm sure there's better deals out there but I've been waiting for a couple months now and I needed the parts so I just ordered them on the spot.

Contact Nick on here from got exhaust. He's beaten all the prices I've seen everywhere else.
All together this was about 1k. Plus I need to assemble the 6112s so bout 1100-1200.

Your gonna like the 6112’s, the body size is similar to the Fox 2.5’s etc. much larger than the 5100’s, Fox 2.0 or Eibach. First time I drove mine with them set at 2.6” lift with my BDS I was surprised it rode so smooth and controlled.

I'm super stoked. I've been reading what limited reviews I can find and they seem to get rave reviews. I figured buy once cry once. Now they need to just get here

Thought this was interesting and pertinent info. Jb1 posted this in another thread so I gotta thank him for the pic. I'm curious as per the differences in spring rates across the models up front. Especially with the eco diesel vs the hemi, makes you wonder if you could get thrifty with a set of oem diesel coils paired to a set of 5100s on a lower setting to yield a higher lift with less preload on a gas truck. Just an off the cuff thought while I wait for brown Santa to get his ass here. 432858570ccd38c06bbf00e707ae0af0.jpg

Sweet, glad to hear you're giving the new Bilstein rear springs a shot. Please post photos, measurements and opinions. I'll be following for sure.

I'm still at least a year away from new suspension parts, but for my budget and needs - it'll probably come down to all Bilstein 6112/5160/36-286539 or the Eibach full kit. I'd pair either with Zone UCAs.

I'll definitely post up everything I can pertaining to the parts. Uninstalled measurements of them individually and once installed etc. I'm a bit hyper sensitive and critical of my stuff according to the better half so if they suck or are the best thing since sliced I'll be sure to let everyone know. Hopefully everything pairs up nicely and feels balanced front to back. That's why I try to keep everything from one parent company if possible. They may not tune it together as a kit but in my head, logically I assume they build them to work in conjunction with each other.

We want pics of the parts before install too, good comparison pics of stock strut vs 6112 size etc
