Future 2022 big horn 1500 owner

Good evening. I'm a new forum member and awaiting a big horn 1500 crew cab 4x4 that I ordered 25 January 2022.
Currently drive a 2015 jeep jk wrangler with 160,000 miles on it.
I've always driven GMC k1500 till purchasing my jeep new.
Ever since the GMC AT4 came out I've had the big itch to one day purchase one and been saving my pennies (dollars) for one. Though the past history of tappet failures with Government Motors 5.3 and 6.2 engines scared me off. So thru perusing this forum and other internet research I finally pulled the trigger.
White with 5.7 hemi w/o the eco help
3.92 4x4 off road package and some bells and whistles. Vin # issued 2 weeks ago.
Rambled on long enough. Much abliged for all great info I have read on here.

GM really pushing the AT4 concept for 2022. So u got a VVT 5.7L w/o the E-torque, IMHO, very humble good choice, though I bet there be a least half of the folks say do the E-torque,. Guess all a matter of preference.

I'd like to say thank you for welcoming me to this forum. Ordered 25 January 2022. Received a Vin #. As of today through the FCA site that is posted here I typed in Vin # and printed out a "build sheet"? Last page states
Status D1 to D1 forward.
Time will tell.

Good evening. An update to my order of my 2022 Bighorn. Rolled off the assembly line March 11th. Then it was parked awaiting delivery. First scheduled delivery date window was delayed. Second time frame 8 April to 23 April. Dealer received 19 April and paperwork done and drove it home Tuesday 20 April. Some strange reason the spray in bedliner and bed lighting though odered was omitted on build . Dealer sprung to have linex sprayed in it. Mighty nice of them. A very nice, spacious and lovely ride. Plus I have a V8 back with a subtle but noticeable growl exhaust note!!!

Good morning. Just a big shout out to person on here suggesting the use of a gallon freezer bag on oil filter.
It works!!! A few dribbles but that's because I didn't let it cool down enough.
Dealer changed it at 869 miles. Oil filter spun off with only hand torque. Very nice!! Everyone enjoy your day.
