As an update to my comment, yesterday finally able to fill the Ram without issue, did not let the nozzle run at full blast, might be something for y'all to try. Of course remembering to not full blast is another thing.
We shouldn't have to manipulate the gas pump though. There has to be something wrong internal to the gas tank that will not allow full pressure from the pump. All this putting the nozzle upside down, half out, nonsense is just putting a bandaid over an underlying issue. Just my two cents.

Same "clicking-off" issue with mine at same (Costco) gas station. I found that if I hold the gas dispenser nozzle upwards with just a little pressure all is well and the tank fills normally. A bit of a bother but I cando. Love my new truck with the pretentious moniker: "Warlock", I'm almost embarrassed to tell my friends what the model is.

Anyone else having issues pumping gas into their truck. I love the truck its good drive and no other issues other than when it comes to filling it up. The pump keeps clicking off every few seconds making the process take up to 20 minutes to get my tank full and on multiple occasions the nozzle got stuck in and took all my strength to pull the sucker out. Took it to the dealer and they said they took it to the chevron and pump a few gallons in it no problems, looked like the needle was in the same spot when i picked it up, basically said it must be the station i go to and since they didn’t duplicate the problem they won’t do anything. So far it’s happens to me at costco on no matter what pump im at and happens at arco and wasn't as bad at a chevron i went to. Kind of worried it’ll get stuck again and I’ll be screwed because i tore my left pectoral muscle this week and won’t be able to use both arms to pull it out. Any ways i live in Los Angeles CA and I don’t go to shell or chevron 1 because they are usually 40 to 50 cents more per gallon than costco and two they are 5 miles out of the way in the opposite direction from where I travel. The whole go to another station isn’t very reasonable especially on long trips and you get stuck with whatever station in close-by when you are low. Anyone else experience this and we’re able to resolve the issue or is this something im going to have to record and keep a record of and get a lemon lawyer?

Don’t take this the wrong way. No gas issues with my 2019 Warlock. However, I once used a funnel with an elongated tube to pour in STP for my winter storage for my Vette. Gas pumping was never the same. Clicks on and off. Takes along time to fill. I was told I damaged the little flap that the pump pushes through. So if you have used a funnel to put anything in your gas tank, that might be it. Good luck!

So the late 4th gens are having this issue too? I'm on my 3rd Ram (all 4th gens) and have never had this problem, hoping they have it resolved by the time I'm ready to look at a 5th gen in a few years, or that I get lucky and get one that works normally.

2019 ram 1500 here with the same problem at Costco. My 2015 Chevy Silvarado had the same issue at Costco. Don't know if it's the truck or a combination of our trucks and Costco. Annoying to say the least.

This has been happening to me for the last 4 months now ... I took it to the dealer and they "DID" according to them replace the filler tube which they said would fix the problem but it actually made it worse ... no matter what gas station I go to ...

I am going to be taking it back so they can now take a look at the evap canister which might be clogged or just not working how it is supposed to be .... good luck man

Mine does it too but if I tilt the nozzle towards me and handle up, it works great. It is annoying that I have to do that though.

I have the issue on 2016 Ram 1500. It happens if the length of the filler hose nozzle is too long. Press in too hard and it sticks. I have a long flat blade screw driver in the compartment that I use to pry it loose. I generally will look at the filler hose end and if it is too long I move on. Out here on the Left Coast Union gas stations generally have the shorter nozzles.

I had trouble on both my 2013 and 2017 Rams, but my 2019 has been good. No issues here.

Never had any issues with my 2013, the 2020 has the issue but learning to deal with it until FCA comes out with a fix if at all.

Mine has this issue about half the time and Costco is the worst. Something about their nozzle design exacerbates the issue.

I'm successful with starting out slow for the first $5 or so then going to full speed. I tried the "sweet spot" method and usually can't find it. :(

I've read of several issues that can cause this which run the table for repairs (none, filler neck, gas tank, support systems).

Mine's at the dealership now for a cracked rear window and I'm having them check out the filling issue. I'm not confident they will reproduce as they are only going to add $20 at one station to test it.

Didn't Steve Jobs say this once? "You're holding it wrong..." I had issues with a Silverado at Costco, don't fuel there any more. Their pumps have issues.

What is the problem with the filler cap. I've never had a problem fueling my 2019 new body style truck. Stick the nozzle in an she gups it down real fast and with no problems also.
