Im looking to upgrade my stock 3.55 gears to possibly 4.10's. Ill be running 33's. I dont know what brands to get or if its even worth upgrading my gears.

I would change gears. It has always been a mod that you can actually appreciate after they have been installed. Check with Moe's Performance. He always has quality stuff.

Even with 33's, making the jump to 4.10's will be a big improvement. If you are 2wd, then this is a fairly cheap upgrade as well. We sell the Motive 4.10's for only $194.99, and the install kit you need is only $95.99.

If you are going to 35"s then you may want to just get 4.56 and only regear once. You can do 35's with 4.10 but you will loose a little performance.

i put 35s on my truck with steel rims and still had the stock gears and my truck was so slow. it would take me forever to get to 60MPH. i just got 4.56 put in and my truck is a whole new vehicle. I wish i did the gears last year, and my gas mileage is way better cause my motor isnt trying so hard to spin those big tires. My tranny is much happier with the gears too

I have 4.56 with a spicer limited slip locker

trust me, go with 4.56 gears

then throw some tiny tires on your truck and go roast them everywhere! :)

Try 4.88s with 33s that was fun, but scary as hell sometimes.

The general rule is 33" and bigger go 4:56. Smaller than 33" use 4:10.
Do not fear the gear.

33-34" tires: 4.10 gears
35-36" tires: 4.56 gears

IMO. If you're planning for 35's just go with 4.56 right off the batt, your truck will love you lol.
