BTW, that truck I showed ya also has the 8 speed tranny and a factory spray in liner. It is the 6 speed that drives a lot of us crazy, seams like the truck is always bogging. let us know what you get.

If you buy a new truck in Oregon you don't even have to pay tax right?

Yes...but if you register it in a different state you will pay the approprate sales tax.

Right there is no sales taxes in oregon. But everything here is damn expensive haha. Just searching craigslist there are 2006 2007 rams still going for well over 20k. I will keep looking around. Ill probably see if I can talk them down any Aswell.

I sold my 2011 Ram 1500 quad cab 4.7l 4x4 last spring for 17,000 with 98,000 kms on it. I had some mods on it (nothing major) and I feel I sold low. That was a year ago almost though. You could work those prices down for sure.

I couldnt find what rear end the 2011 4.7 had in it. I have also found a bighorn with the hemi in it and about 69k miles for alittle over $18k. The price seems alittle high compared to a 2011 but im not to sure how the ram packages stack up.

They are as follows

St
Express
Slt
Lonestar/bighorn
Outdoorsman
Sport
Larmie
Larmie longhorn
Larmie limited.

The big features the bighorns normally have are upgraded stereo, premium cloth, adjustable pedals, power seats, rear sliding window, rear defrost, and some come with the center console with the shifter in it, there are also appearance extras such as body colored mirrors with turn signals body colored transition peice above the front bumper, rear dual exhaust on the hemi, 20''s, and billet grill. I'm sure there is more but I covered most.

Mine is only a base ST Express regular cab, but I bought it a little over a year ago (2011 model) with 11,000 miles and a Hemi for $17,900. There are deals out there...you just have to look around. Good luck! :)

Also, when in doubt, go with the V8. Hemi is, by far, preferable. Think about the resale value as well. The V6 resale is terrible in comparison.
