Gibson Exhaust question

im thinking about getting a Gibson exhaust system(part number 616591) and it says it wont fit with the ground effects. now my truck has it. can some one tell me why it wont work?? anyone know??

Its hard to tell by the little pics of your truck in your sig and avatar but my guess would be that the rear ground effects piece located where the exhaust exits will hit the exhaust tip and/or be too close so it will melt it or discolor it over time. You could probably make it work by rotating the tip down a little bit or swapping the tip for a turndown?

x2. The exit tip or section pipe seems to be the only thing i can think of in regards to fitment issues w/ your ground effects kit.
