That only took 15 years.
My 2007 Chevy 1500 w/5.3 AFM was one of them. Only $150M, how much for lawyers, then how much for millions of owners? Ppfftt.

GM just skated on the class action over the eight speed debacle, so that might put a damper on this. Not a good precedent.

All (mostly) to the lawyers. Have a Nissan murano. Lots of issues with their cvt tranny’s. Recent class action lawsuit resulted in the warranty being extended to 80K miles. Big wup.

Yae, 8 Speed nightmare, serious valve body issues not knowing when to shift, there is a GM engineer that has a fix for it W/ aftermarket valve body kit, but Goverment Motors told him to shove it and left thousands of owners to fend for themselves, my son in law has a new Silvebackado W/ 2.7 turbo has the 8 speed constantly shifting even this 4 banger has the AFM to run on 4cyl to 2cyl wow!!

Judge granted final approval to the verdict, who knows what that means? Run out the clock for another 30 years until the litigants are all dead and the law firm retains every dime GM is forced to pay?

My cynicism is well-deserved after seeing how corrupt business and lawyers have been the past decades.
