I haven't mocked this up yet but I have a mint set of pro comp 1069 17x9 4.5bs wheels wrapped in 285/70/17 (hand measured at 33/12/17)

I paid good money for the set brand new and was wondering if this would be a setup that would clear with 2" adapters. I want to mock them up before I go spending the coin since the adapters aren't something I can just resell in a day if I don't like the look or the wheels don't clear.

Anyone done this before? Anyone know if I'll have caliper rub issues? Inner wheel well issues? I've never ran spacers before, and general word on the street is you get what you pay for. Any other ideas? Maybe someone could be badass and do a Photoshop for me too [emoji1787]

Bora spacers, I have them. 1.5" running 315/70/17s and I BARELY kissed plastic liner and that was fully articulated. Had to just trim about a 1/4" nub off the oem stud. Have checked them over the last 10k miles and no issues with them loosening up and I've wheeled a couple trips hard and drive 125 miles a day. They might take a bit to receive since that adapter may be a custom order, but it's worth it. The are hub and lug centric so they fit absolutely perfect.

Awesome! I'm gonna get the green truck the rest of the way stripped this week. I'm not sure if I'm gonna like the bullet holes on the Ram but it's a $1,400 set with less than a 1,000 miles on them that I'm gonna struggle to get a grand for. It's at the very least worth trying before I go losing my ass and trying to hunt down another set of wheels and tires for close to the same money.

I figure it's at least worth a shot. I have started looking at adapters. Didn't get very far but I'll look deeper into it if I like the look.

The other plus to this is that I'll be able to keep the stock 20s for winter and I can run the tires on it that would likely need replaced by the end of fall.

My spacers were about 275 for 4 if my memory serves me. Those mickey thompson style wheels look good on these trucks. I almost nabbed myself a set before I decided against spending the money. Even if you just use the 6 lug wheels until you wear the tires off it buys you time, easier to sell wheels at a higher price. Especially if you take care of them.

Adapters are cheaper than a set of wheels and tires for sure and bora is great quality.

I tossed em against the rolling stock on the truck today. The back looked good by this truck needs a leveling kit STAT. It's not good. The 33s are maybe a 1/2" taller and I'm sure with the weight of the truck, they would squat and be the same height. The rear looked manageable. The front looked absolutely stuffed. Leveling kit and try again and see.

Measured my height. 38 5/8 in the rear 35 1/8 up front pavement to fender. Yikes. 3.5 inches of rake. Got a 2.5 RC leveling kit for it though. So it'll sit much better once I get that put on.

Still have to scrounge up some cash for the brake controller. My old subwoofer, amp and head unit should take care of that.

Been awhile but I get the truck sitting on 6112 bils up front and 5100s out back. Got a line out to Bora currently awaiting a response on adapters to make the bullet holes bolt up. Now that summer is here I'm looking hard at getting some fresh shoes on this truck.
