Depending on the BT kit purchased I'd check to see if the track bar was already adjusted for the drop. Usually that comes with the kit.

It looks like you are running the OEM mopar shocks.

Bilstein 4600s are OEM replacement and can work on the front. You need a shorter shock for the rear as the OEM replacement is too long and will not be in the optimal damper range.

Keep us updated on those relocation brackets and how they pan out.You can bypass the trackbar relocation bracket by just redrilling the mounting holes. I never had any luck with the trackbar bracket,couldn't keep it tight,so i just redrilled the mounting points.
I have the earlier Illicit relocation brackets,and the truck is dead stable to 155 mph,you can easily drive it with one hand

So basically you just drilled holes toward the bottom of the original mounting bracket?

You want the trackbar as close to parrallel with the diff as you can get,so the hole has to be moved up on the frame side bracket,i also moved the diff side bracket down slightly,but if you move the frame side hole up far enough you won't have to move the other hole down. Odds are you'll have to do a bit of notching on the frame bracket to get the trackbar moved up high enough to be parrallel with the diff.

Awesome trip, my 24 warlock averaged. Down and back 18.7 mpg. I was blown away. Over 6 k miles, high speed, slow speed, traffic. Utterly amazing 5.7, 8 speed 3.92 4x4, crew cab with a camper top.

Granted I didn't hit a bunch of weather but in some places I saw 21- 22 mpg.

Not certain what Ram did with the ECM but my 16, 5.7 8speed 3.21 won't get 21, it won't even get 18 most days.

I think there must be some differences I'm not accounting for like my 16 is a Laramie the 24 is a package SLT. I've got Cooper tires on the 16, with moto metal wheels, where the warlock is stock oem wheels and goodyear SRAs.

Overall new truck is working out to my liking. Installing air lift bags tomorrow as I did get a bit of bounce as I was loaded heavy 1st part of trip. Not so much on the way back.

Overall trip was a success, accomplished my goal.

Interesting I've never worked on these newer trucks before I'll have to lay underneath it and get a idea of what I'm looking at

I did look and it looks all factory and the bar is at a angle

Damn that's what the cars pull down,i wonder what they changed to up the milege that much.

My list of differences is fairly small. Both trucks get 93, real gas if I can find it, they are the same size. The laramie weighs in at 5132, the warlock 5084

The wheels and tires are about 17 lbs each difference with the warlock being lighter probably due to the SRAs

3.21 vs 3.92. 16 has got 5W-30 redline 24 has got 0W-30 redline. Both got 20-820 filters.

So it's got to be engine programming or transmission gearing. Or both. Weight might make a bit of difference but not that much. By my estimate there's about 120 lbs difference with the Laramie weight more.

I don't know, sure can't tell it by how the 24 runs. I hit the speed limiter half a dozen times across the res in Eastern MT and in Wyoming. It ain't no slouch

Based on your photo, you probably need to focus on the sway you mentioned in the rear. Relocation brackets, sway bar, track bar Relocation. Lots of work in the rear.

No wonder you mentioned a sway

Sounds good I bought the kit and I am willing to put some tac welds on it to keep them stable.

The pull to the right needs to be fixed, it seems like it's the tires, they are worn weird but not horrible... The question is I like these wheels should I buy a new set of 24s tires? Would it be a lot smarter to buy 22s wheels and tires? Will it regret the 24s even though they look cool?

The way your rear arms are sitting,they're actually trying to steer the rear of the truck. The swaybar really doesn't have much to do with correcting rear end wiggle,even though it's called a swaybar.The swaybar mininiumizes body roll and helps plant the rear tires on launch,but it actually won't correct the basic issues you're having,but it's good to have one just for daily driving. Up till about 25 years ago,alot of trucks never had a rear swaybar,and it wasn't really till the early 70's that they started to have front swaybars

I too would like to lower my '21, long story, but it has warranty until 3/26. So the dealer says that I have to wait if. A friend has lowered several Dodge Rams. He told me about geometry issues that several lowering kits had. He recommended a kit with Texas in their name, can't remember it right now. The full kit is around $1,400. Plus an air ride helper kit for for when I tow.
