Got my Headlights but...

Got my projector headlights today but the small attic tab is broken off. Is this small tab even used? Here is the pic.

Sorry that should say plastic tab.

As long as the black mounting tabs are intact and the headlight still holds a seal you should be alright.

You're good to go, that tab doesn't do anything, it's the black mounting tabs that matter.

Here are the headlights not installed yet. I might send them back and get the chrome ones instead because I have all chrome accents on my truck as well as the big deflector and window visors. I have obviously a copperhead orange CC Big Horn with Chrome and orange longhorn wheels.

I can't wait to see the pics, whichever pair of lights you choose. I have pretty much the same truck (except mirrors and wheels) and changing the headlights for the projector style ones is VERY high on my mod list.

Lol at getting rid of the chrome I actually really like the chrome. This was my number one upgrade to the truck the projector lights were a must. Thanks to JJ as retroshop he is awesome and if you need headlights or lighting stuff talk to him. He is the man

Once I get the cash in hand (and the okay from the wife ), I'll be ordering a set from JJ, too. Can't wait to see the pics!

I love the chrome, too, especially with the Copperhead Pearl color.

I think we're the last 3 guys in North America who actually like chrome.
Makes it sooo much easier to be sure our trucks are unique, though.
