I'm running a 5amp fuse for all of my halos. Red, red backlighting, and white halos too.

Headlights look great! And as said, they look solid black when off, it's cool!

I also jumped power from the cigarette lighter. Just if you were looking for a place to do that from.

i already have my guage wired up to that, dont want to put too much stress on that. im just going straight to the battery this time.

and i like how it looks solid black too. and then once your up close you can see that the shroud is silver and black. JJ did a great job!

Haha. I figure none of those components, LED headlights, and backlighting gauges isnt pulling too much strain. I wish I could take anything I have running off the battery and get rid of it. Don't like the look of it.

i have couple of things on the battery, but ive also been able to plug it into the fuse box where it connects to the battery. i just hate having to get wireing into the cab from outside. i can never find a good spot to feed it into the cab.

so, why do you need to hook all this kind of stuff up to a fuse anyway?

to protect the lights incase of like a power surge or somthing, the fuse will break and wont allow that surge to get to your lights and possible break them.

Or cause the wires to burn up and smoke really bad and possibly start a fire. Lol. Those aren't good! I had the smoke thing happen when I first wired my halos.

So ran into a little hiccup. After wiring up the CCFLs i noticed the passenger side didnt light up. Me and JJ tried to switch things up but nothing. So i had to send the headlight back to JJ today. No biggy JJs gonna make it all better! Haha. I also aimed them a little bit too high and it was shinning in peoples windows lastnight... Ooops! So im riding around with Halogen bulbs for a while.
