I use my truck bed way too much to put something like that on it. Mine came with a tonneau and I'm going to pull it off and sell it. If I were to cover my bed it would be with a waterproof backflip.

This looks awesome!! But, not practical for me.

That's why I wanted some sort of cover. My old 99 2500 4X4 got used, a TON, by everyone but me. I don't do much anymore, it's all pretty much done.

Big Project comes up where I need a box, got tons to pick from, it's my kids, Nieces-Nephews, God kids and all the cute little neighborhood kids, who are now in their 20's and want to use my truck to do everything that needs doing.

Been times where I needed the truck, only to find out the wife had already promised it out. Not with this new one, slapped a topper on it and informed the her that no one uses it, ever, for anything.

Will see how long that lasts....


This Winter, since it is a 4X4 crew cab, it's already been put into service every snow day. HAuls more heathens than the wifes minivan.

Good looking topper. Every truck I've had I put a topper on except the one I have now. Put a Leer hard tonneau cover on it and have found that it was an expensive mistake if you ever want to use the bed. Looks good, but you can't haul anything over 24" tall. Next time I'll go back to a topper with a bed rug. Your truck looks great!!!!

You have put my mind , at ease. I was looking HARD at a flat lid, painted to match, but this popped up & was too cheap to pass up.

Been thinking I may have made a mistake since the flat 'lid' look, looks so nice.

Was even considering selling the topper, thus spring, and going with a lid. oYou have put the kebosh to that idea.
