Hello, I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Sport. I've noticed over the past few days the gps isn't locating properly. Has me blocks away from where I am actually driving. I went into the GPS settings and next to "available" it shows 0 and next to "reliability" it shows none. Also to the right where the GPS signal strength's are usually they are all blank. Jus wondering if there is an easy fix / reset for this issue or is it something that needs to go to the dealership for?? I've attached a photo which I will help will explain my issue.

Thank you.

Well, if it's not software related then it must be hardware related. That will require a trip back to the dealer. I hope you're still under warranty

Yeah that's what I am thinking. Truck will be three years old in April but I also purchased the 5 year extended warranty at time of purchasing the truck so shouldn't cost me anything.

Hello everyone, so I dropped the ram off yesterday and within an hour I heard back from the dealership. They did some trouble shooting and in the end have ordered me an entire new radio. Normal warranty is up in April of 2022 but I did buy the extended warranty as well so it shouldn't cost me anything.

That was the case with my Jeep as well. Less than 2 years old, GPS went out. Whole new radio. I am in Edmonton, took 4 months to get it and they are actually refurbished units not brand new. If you have Sirius radio make sure the dealer switches the sercvice to the new radio. It is a major pain to do yourself with Sirius if the dealer doesn't becasue they show the radio registererd to the dealer. Happy New Year.

They told me it was 1200. If it is just your gps there is a much cheaper fix. You can just replace the module. There is a thread here on how to do it. Have a look at the related threads just below.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, it ended up being the main radio unit which was covered under warranty. I ended up trading the truck in for a 2022 which I've now had a main hvac unit issue. It's in the shop and I know of a USA recall for his exact issue where Dodge has already bought back 22 units. Still waiting to hear back on the fix for mine but they think they may have to remove the entire dash, ahhh no.... The truck has 988km on it and is one month old, take mine back lol
