Hey yall,

Does anyone know where the grease points are on a 07 3500 4x4? I've got some squeaking going on i want to see if that will help.

Thanks guys,

I am wondering about this topic too. I know of the following: Front driveshaft U-joint (near front differential), outer tie rod ends, ball joints, steering linkages, Front main bearings (stock may not have zerks, mine have been replaced with units with zerks). FYI, there may be other places that I don't know about. I have 226K miles and I'm wondering what else I may need to lube. I don't know if the wheel bearings are something that can be lubed, or if they are sealed. I'm getting up there in mileage and I'd like to be pro-active about maintenance rather than breaking down on the road.

I'm pretty sure the wheel bearings are pressed Into the hub and aren't serviceable. I'll have to check out the other points you mentioned.

Hello Dodge Forum - I have a 2017 ram 1500 full cab 4 x 4 and am wondering as well if anyone can provide me with the location of grease fittings (if there are any) on this vehicle? Thx.

Grease points would be found on suspension parts or U-Joints. If they are not there, then they are not serviceable. The squeeks may be coming from places like sway bar bushings or other similar type of mounting locations that use rubber.

I’ve yet to come across any grease fittings unless it’s a part I’ve replaced. I swapped out. I’ve used some Royal Purple Maxfilm lubricant on different bushings and it had pretty much stopped all squeaks.

FWIW, I sprayed some squeaky door hinges inside the house every bit of 7-8 years ago with the stuff and they have yet to make a sound.
