That name was taken so I chose a username that I thought would show what I am driving. What I left out is that its a crew cab - aren't all pickups crew cabs today? So a 2016 RAM 3500 Crew Cab 6.7L Laramie 85k mi. Stock so far, well cept I just got alfaobd to try to change some of the things I don't like. I'm used to driving antiques as in much older vehicles (turn of century aka 2001) so this thing has options I am still learning about.
Some I am having troubles with and will be posting about later are the backup camera - acts up from time to time. The remote starter - frustrating that I can't start it when the doors are open. Learning all of the controls on the steering wheel and trying to set some to be permanently set - custom I guess? Like the AC and the seat cooler.
Setting tire pressures with no load likely to be another question. I already found Global Windows *Down* which is nice but is there a Global Windows *UP*? Located in Central FL where spontaneous down pours are frequent.
Then I'm sure there will be alfaobd questions as it appears to be a complex setup and I certainly don't want to make things worse.
Well that's it for now.
obtw - Retired AF as in *Retired* and over that hill.
Which reminds me when I was on AD in the 70's we had what was called a *six-pack* cuz back then they were the odd-ball trucks and there was no such thing as a crew cab.
Will I be able to edit this post if/when I think of other things?
ETA - forgot about the radio reception - is it the antenna?
The radio has been replaced.
Is there a way to update the NAV system maps?
