I have a black billet grill. If I don't run my finger between each slat, one by one, it looks horrible when it dries.

Anybody have any ideas in how to dry it while I'm at the car wash? The one finger method is slow and painful. I can't clean it at home because I have a dirt driveway.

Thanks!

Dat Cummins!
I dry my grill with a shopvac. Works great!

EDIT: Just saw the "carwash only" part. Maybe keep a can of compressed air in the truck to blow the water off the grill.

Get a cordless leaf blower and bring it with you. No one said washing wasn't tedious though. It sucks!

Another +1 on using a leaf blower. Or if you have time, you can just use a chamois to dry each row of the grille.

Grills are just ****** to wash/dry. I agree with the leaf blower.
I tried it this past weekend on the Ram. Worked wonderfully!

Neighbors already think I'm nuts when they leave for work and come home and I'm still detailing lol, between that and the leaf blower I get some weird looks.

they have a item that cleans window blinds. has 3 or 4 "fingers" on them and they go between the blinds. not sure if theyd fit between your grill though but maybe something simular could work?

That's not a bad idea...
