Got The headers installed on Friday, no pictures because you really can't see anything.
I got exactly what I was expecting and a little more, an even deeper rumble and a little gain in torque on the bottom end (didn't expect it to enhance the sound of the cam hitting, but it did that too?).
MY truck runs like a scalded dog when you give it WOT, but a light or just cruising at low speeds, around 1,500-2,000 rpm's if you don't give it just the right amount of gas it almost felt like there was slight stumble trying to gain torque?
That's completely gone now!
I'm happy with the Gibson shorties.

Summer of Love continues...
I've always liked the guys here using graphics on their truck, just could ever decide which route to go?
So I refinished and repainted my CAI system and decided to go with a "Road Runner" theme.
Going with a brighter orange this time too, decals are also cleared in, the air cleaner isn't yet because I've got to order a smooth one so the decal will adhere smooth before clearing in, so now I'll have to order another decal.
These are the licensed MOPAR restoration decals too.
More to come...

Thanks, the wife looked at me kinda funny, but she doesn't get it. haha
I've got some Road Runner body panel decals on the way to add to the rear and doors.
I've always been drawn to the Road Runner, especially the GTX version!

Yes sir, I've had the 68, 69 and 70 GTX. The 70 GTX is still my favorite car of all time. Got married and honeymooned in a 70 GTX.

Looks good. I might try that next. Did a plastidip setup on my chrome grille inserts and the center section a while back. I think it’d look pretty good with the mesh. I’d used the stainless Gutter Guard on a 02 Z28 back in the day, that’s another option for materiality the dimensions are good.

I originally ran my louver inserts plastic dipped and it lasted right up till I redid my grill.
As long as you scuff up the chrome with sandpaper and use adhesion promoter it'll last fairly well.
A better solution though would be to spray em down with "Easy-off" oven cleaner and melt the chrome off before prepping to painting, that'd be permanent I'd think?
