Having trouble codes 12, 37, 41 and thought it might be a grounding issue. Is this how the grounds are supposed to look?

One ground is right behind the radio. There's a weird bolt nearby, is that were its supposed to go to?

The other ground is to the right of the steering column. One wire is chopped off. Are the other wires Accurate or am I missing somthing?

Thanks!

those connections look home made. personally, all of my old cars where I'm not the original owner or any of my restorations, I run a 6 gauge to the firewall from the battery negative terminal, connect it to a pass through terminal block and run all known grounds to the terminal block. that way there is no doubt.

something like this if you're super concerned about ground loops. or just a 1 1/2 inch long 3/8 bolt if you're not.
