A couple members PM'd me about how I hardwired my MM and radar detector to my mirror, so here's how.
I hated the cheap flimsy fuse extender, and I wanted a cleaner install. Benefit is, when you first put your key in and turn to accessory and the MM turns on, it doesn't turn back off when you start the truck, and restart. It stays on throughout the whole process.
Here's the pins you'll need, you can get these at radio shack for cheap.
Here's the mirror plug pulled out showing where the hot and ground wires go.
