Passed the technician license exam this morning! Whoop Whoop! Now we wait for the database update!

And dont be afraid to get on here or THE RADIO and ask questions. We like helping. Iv learned a LOT from a good friend Jeff as well as asking guys on the radio in my local area. I spend 99% of my time on 2 meter doing a lot of simplex and a tiny bit on 70cm.

Haven't read all 12 pages so hope this is not a repost. But they do make attachment that relocates your 3rd brake light to have area to attach stuff and gives you access to cab through back of cab. You may have seen it on some of those construction pickups working on highway. They are probably fleet leasing and can't drill holes either without affecting trade in. Sorry I don't know what it's called or were I got it.

Hmm. That is cool. Would be nice for a strobe warning light. I wonder what it's rated for given the fact that only two little screws are the mounting point. Thanks for sharing.

I'm a volunteer firefighter and I found it searching for miniature lights bars. It's made for that. It attached pretty good. The screws are the stock ones that held in the 3rd brake light originally they don't attach the plate to truck. I'll try to find were I bought it and post link.

I'm close to being in the market. I don't do anything like you. I just have a couple bad places to back in a trailer and work with farm equipment occasionally and I used to have a setup on another truck. Feel like it's a nice addition for safety for myself and others. Too many people out there holding their phone and the wheel.

Yes the 3rd brake light antenna mount is cool but the pricing on them is crazy expensive.

This is a cheaper option that mount between the cab and the stock 3rd brake light....Its ok until you have been spoilt by seeing the expensive one I linked to above!
