Hello,
Have on order '18 Hemi 6.4 2500 4x4 4.10 anti slip deferential Tradesman on order, now built awaiting transportation. Truck is a regular cab 2 door and 8 foot bed. Got to wondering if the handling characteristics on this truck would be any different than a 4 door cab? Will be towing a 6,000 trailer about 8,000 miles per year as well as a daily driver. Just curious. Thanks.

Yes it will be a bit different
Each time the overall wheelbase changes it makes the handling characteristics different. Plus the cab configuration changes how the weight is distributed which also affects the ride.

I’d expect your truck should tow that trailer like it doesn’t even know it’s there. And I’m sure it will feel like a nice driving truck as a daily, although you won’t be mistaking it for a luxury car. But much nicer than a heavy duty truck from 20yrs ago, to be sure.

Agree, the handling will change , but you will get used to it quickly.
