im interested in the muffler. I want either flowmaster or magnaflow. How does the idle sound? You using stock piping? Got pics of the muffler installed?

@ Jeremy. here it is! i will be converting this to a sport model. Waiting for the grill to show up. A raceland wireless e-cut-out is also in my plans. Sport bumpers will be a definite project in the future.

@lb3711 Im using stock piping. Idle sound doesnt bother me since Im stuck without the option to disable mds for now. I get a big grin everytime I punch it though! I get looks from everybody at stoplights. Ill try to get a picture of it installed sometime. Btw That is a brand new ford from my neighbor downstairs. He tells me he should have got a dodge instead after checking mine out.

does it have a nice idle? I want mine louder and more V8ish LOL I'm used to my durango when it had a vortex cat back and it was loud and since last summer i chopped off the tailpipe and had it dumped at the muffler. You heard me coming and going.

oh.......to get rid of MDS until a tuner is out to support the 2011s - either put it in tow/haul, or put the "stick" in 5. It will disable MDS for ya.

@ LB3711 idle sound starts from the 15 sec to 20 sec mark till I hit the gas. Its $99 at pep boys. Lower if it goes on sale.

I forgot the cable to upload the installed pics. just picture this the muffler comes by itself in the box and the welding shop will have to put 3 clamps and weld it permanently to the stock piping. and putting the autostick setting to 5 is nice on the open road but it sucks when you get to slow down and downshift manualy. i need to disable mds permanently without pressing the tow/haul or shift to 5 setting. its so inconvenient. superchips where are you?
