Hard to close driver door

The driver for on my reg cab requires excessive force to get to fully latch. The passenger side is fine and the alignment is good. I tried playing with the latch mechanism on both the door and the cab but wasn't able to get any meaningful adjustment out of them.. it's been like this since I got it and I have 1300 miles on the clock so I was going to bring it to the attention of the dealer at my first oil change but was wondering if there was a known issue/fix. I suspect it's the cab vents as the door closes with next to no effort with a window cracked.

Odd, I would think if it were the cab vent then the passenger side would have the same issue.

Probably built on a friday afternoon... should never have left the factory...

Something is not right... have dealer fix it
