Hard tri fold questions

I have a 2016 ram 1500 5.7 crew cab 5.7 bed length. I’m looking for a hard tri fold bed cover for it that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. I’ve bought a rough country one but it leaks water even though I’ve made adjustments and all. My first cover was a soft tri fold but I rather have hard for security. I don’t want a low profile one I love how the one pictured in this post sits higher rather than flushed. TIA and I hope I posted in right section

I have my second BakFlip cover https://www.ramforum.com/threads/friend-of-my-ram-has-passed.180467/ . Would not buy a soft cover because I'd be too concerned about security. If you get one just test it with a hose and make adjustments as needed to ensure the best water protection

My Extang on my 2010 is over 10 years old, only leak is where I tore the gasket, even them only a couple of drops

My Extang Solid Fold 2.0 is starting to delaminate and bubble up. It's only about 4 yrs old.

My Extang solid fold 2.0 leaks like a sieve. Both sides at one of the joints. Even a light rain it leaks. It looks good, but it leaks, and always has.

Tonnopro hard cover for the win. Had one on my 19 but it set above the bed so I replaced it. Great cover, didn't leak and priced way under the usual suspects.

Had an Extang hard tri fold, leaked at the hinges after only a few months. Sent it back on warranty and upgraded to roll-n-lock. Much prefer the RNL, although I no longer have it either - sold it when I was going to switch to a shell, but wound up not doing that so am back to a soft folder for now. May move to a camper shell if I can find a nice deal on one.
