I have the Alpine in my PW and the wife has the Harmon in her Trailhawk. I don't notice any difference. Both have same wattage on the amps and same size subs I believe.

I have the apline in my 2018 PW and the Harmon 18 speaker system in my 2016 Hellcat, world of difference but to be fair a completely different stereo system between the two.

My wife also has a 2019 trailhawk... i never thought about what it had in it ... hmmm.
Appreciate the input ... probably going with the alpine at this point for the deal I am working.

Not sure what the 2019 has in it. My wife's is a 2017 and my PW is a 2018

From my experience, the Alpine has more bass and loudness from less volume. The H/K, with more speakers, is clearer enabling various tones and instruments to be more easily heard depending on the music you’re listening to. Loudness requires more volume.

I have the alpine in a Jeep wrangler and the H/K in Grand Cherokee. The H/K produces better music, I swear I hear things in songs that I've never heard/picked up on before. Maybe it is just my head justifying the system. I do think the Alpine will play louder and is not a bad system by any means, but I do notice a difference. My new PW got the H/K system put in it.

I have the Alpine in my RAM and had the HK in my 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland. They are both decent factory systems but the HK was clearer with less muddy bass than the Alpine.

My ears are so damaged from concerts, motorcycles and yard equipment that I couldn't tell the diff between an AM radio and these two systems.

Wish I could hear you but same applies to me.

Honestly, while the sound quality is great with the Alpine system in my truck...

I wish I had the under-seat storage that the subwoofer takes up. I'd much rather put stuff under there.

My Comment was meant as a Take on the Phrase, "I hear You, Brother"
Meant my ears are damaged, as well.

My 2014 Stock radio, could not really hear anything.
I like NPR and with the road noise, could not properly hear the enunciation of words being spoken.

So, upgraded with Alpine Amp, Alpine Speakers and Kenwood Radio.
NPR sounds great now, to my ears, so too does AC/DC and all my other music.

Over 850 shows in the books for me (old rocker). Can still hear a bit, though.

I have had several Alpine systems and thought they were very good. I now have Alpine in the 300 and H/K in the Limited 1500. I now know words to songs that I had all wrong before. In my opinion H/K is much clearer. That said, I just ordered a new Grand Cherokee SRT with the Alpine. H/K was just too much money for my tastes.

Appreciate all the insight. The original truck I ordered was “lost” at the plant and I was forced to search for something close to what I wanted. I originally ordered the truck with the HK, ($795 option) but will instead be getting a truck with the Alpine system. A $7k difference in my favor ... I’m good with that.

The H/K is wayyyyy better. Both in home stereo and in car/truck systems. There is no comparison :) I would take Polk over Alpine if it was available in a vehicle.
