Haunted remote fob

1 (and seemingly only 1) of my remote fobs has started randomly sending signals to my truck, remote lock, remote start. I can hold the fob in my hand WITHOUT touching a button and my truck horn responds to the signal. If it starts up unintentionally I can walk to the truck and press the unlock button and the engine will shut down,unlock the door and show that remote start is disabled please start truck to reset

I have one like this. Theres a little plastic piece thats come unglued between the button and the rubber case. Pull the battery out and you can still use it as a key. I tried gluing the piece back on, but ultimately replaced the remote and just salvaged the key insert to save cutting a new one.
