Have a Fleet Truck?

Curious how many others on here have old Fleet vehicles.

While rolling around under my New to me, 188k mile Ram 1500, I found a Sold/Fleet barcoded sticker on the passenger side frame rail.

I have confirmed most of the components for this very base optioned truck. Makes sense for a State DOT, Government (forest service) or Contractor work truck.

Basic satellite radio no Uconnect
Basic steering wheel, 4 buttons up down left right.
Cloth interior up front.
4.7 Flex Fuel
TRX Offroad package. (17" Tires)
243 Transfer case
3.92 gears

I think the wholesaler who acquired the truck put a vinyl seat in back before it went to the dealer I got it from. To make it more sellable.

Haven't figured out what kind of work truck yet. A couple clues given though. A little caterpillar yellow paint transfer on one bumper corner. Reflective yellow paint splattered in two fender wells, a fair amount of tar thrown under the running boards.

Enjoying the truck as mine now. Will re-option things as I find them.

My 2016 Outdoorsman started its life as a Enterprise Canada truck. Bought it in 2017 with 16k on the odometer.

I put seat covers on it so front and back match. Also to cover up the half dozen or so cigarret burns on the front seats.

In the back there are a couple of small holes on the passenger side. Look like dog nail holes.

Peeled back. I guess they could be leather in back. They have no leather smell, for sure... I Didn't see vinyl on the option list.

i had a fleet lease return i got back in 2014.it was a 2012 2500 slt with a 5.7 and just under 35000 kilometers,it was a super solid truck.i kept it till last spring when i took it in for service the dealer made me an offer i couldn't refuse.the wife then bought me a powerwagon for a retirement gift.i had them both for a couple weeks,i didn't really want to let it go.

342/4050 idle/drive hours

According to my build sheet, it lists fleet codes and daily rental and Enterprise Rental, so I guess I have one.

No real issues, except broken exhaust manifold bolts. Otherwise, normal services, oil changes according to oci.

She been a great truck.
