HD 4th gen 7" EVIC - Using a 1500 version?

My 2016 7" EVIC (Instrument Cluster) DEF gauge is not functional because of my 6.7 delete, does anyone have information or knowledge if you can use a 1500 7" EVIC to read my 2500 6.7 coolant temp gauge on bottom left to replace the not functionally DEF gauge?

I might buy one from a yard to test, curios if anyone has came across

It should I know a couple of guys with the 1500 ecodiesel have done this with the Hemi evil
